Almost 30 years ago they thought the music industry was dying. It went on a decade later to gross more revenue than ever before. Clive Davis gives a statement in this video saying that consumers will never want to watch video combined with music. Today this revenue is becoming more consistent and profitable then traditional ways of receiving music. This shows you that music executives have no idea what they are talking about most of the time.
